Bus 163 and Bus 2142 will not be running Bark Camp Road or Clark Lane until further notice due to deteriorating roads conditions on Clark Lane. The students can meet Bus 2142 at the end of Bark Camp Road at 6:45 in the mornings and at 3:05 for Midway Students and 3:30 for Duval 6-8/LCHS students.
Bus 152 (Scott Neace) will not be running the rest of the week. (January 13 & 14) Bus 2121 (Mitch Vance) will be picking up the students that Bus 152 normally transports. Mitch will pick up in Sand Creek at 6:15 and then proceed to Frye Ridge and then onto the Bend of the River. He will turn at the foot of Beaver Pond and begin picking the students up on the way out. West Hamlin, GVMS and LCHS Students - Bus 2133 (Lynn Neace) will not be running the rest of the week (9 Mile Bus). In the mornings, Bus 213 (Lee Neace) will pick up the students that Bus 2133 normally transports. Bus 213 will leave Ranger Elementary at 7:30 and begin picking up students on 9 Mile at approximately 7:45. In the afternoons, Bus 151 will be transporting the students' home. Due to the Winter Storm Warning associated with our area, Lincoln County Schools will release students 3 hours early today, Thursday, January 6, 2022. Parents and guardians should plan for school buses to arrive at their evening bus stop locations approximately 3 hours earlier than regularly scheduled time.

School Calendar Reminders: Monday, January 10 is a Teacher-Parent-Pupil meeting day. Staff will report. Students will not report. If you wish to schedule a meeting with your child's teacher, please contact the school.

Monday, January 17 is a holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and schools will be closed.
The WVDE has provided new guidance and the Lincoln County Board has confirmed that we will move forward in following new quarantine guidelines. The length of quarantine for both exposed and testing positive is decreased from 10 to 5 days (for those able to mask consistently on days 6-10). A mask will be required for exposed and positives on days 6-10, regardless of the map. The second change concerns the definition of fully vaccinated. Students and staff are now required to have completed their initial 2 doses of the vaccine within the last 6 months or he/she needs a booster (if over 18) to be considered fully vaccinated. **Bus Change for January 5, 2022, for Hamlin PK-8 and LCHS Students**
Bus 2141 will not be running tomorrow. Bus 2113 will leave the turnaround on One Mile at 7:45 AM. He will pick to West Hamlin hill and then on to Save-A-Lot. Bus 215 will pick up the students on Morris Hollow and Belcher Ave. Bus 215 will be picking these students up approximately 25 minutes later than Bus 2141 normally does.
