School Service Personnel are incredibly important to their schools. They cook warm meals, provide a safe and healthy environment to learn, drive our students to school, lend an ear to students, and so much more. Ranger Area - Bus 161 (10 Mile Bus) will not be running this morning, Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Bus 2140, will pick up the students that normally rides Bus 161 after he drops off his students at Ranger Elementary. He will leave Ranger Elementary at approximately 7:20 to begin the 10 Mile Run. Bus 163 is not be running this evening, 9/16. Students will ride Bus 2142 and Bus 201.
Students living on Brushy Fork, Main Bulger Road, Bark Camp and Clark Lane will ride Bus 2142. The students living on Left Fork Road and Flat Creek need to ride bus 201. These buses may be running later than usual this afternoon.

Lincoln County Schools is conducting the first active threat drill of the year this Friday, September 9th at approximately 9:30 a.m. All eight schools in the county are going to be a part of the drill. We have worked with all of our principals to ensure the active threat drills are designed in a way that enhances our overall preparedness. These drills are important for school safety, and Lincoln County Schools is committed to the safety of all students and staff.
Bus 2131, serving students on Mud River Road and Little Laurel, is having a maintenance issue. A new bus is in route to pick up those students. Students living in this area will be delayed getting home. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Bus 153 will not be running on Thursday morning, September 8th. Bus 2131 will pick up students on Big Laurel and Lower Big Creek.
Bus 160 will pick up students on Fez, main Upper Mud River Road and Cherry Street. Please be patient as the times will vary. Bus 153 is running on Thursday afternoon.
Midway, Duval, and LCHS students:
Bus 225 will not be running on Thursday, September 8th, or Friday, September 9th. In the mornings, students who ride Bus 225 on Garrett’s Bend and Sumerco Mountain will be picked up by Bus 223. Bus 223 will leave Midway at approximately 7:20 AM to begin this route.
In the morning, Bus 1610 will pick up students on Cobbs Creek. In the afternoons, Bus 191 will transport students home that live on Rt 3. Bus 2115 will transport students that transfer to Bus 223 at the Alum Creek Fire station.

This post is regarding bus route changes for Tuesday, September 6 for Midway, Duval, LCHS, and Harts:
For Midway, Duval, and LCHS - Bus 225 will not be running until further notice. Bus 223 will pick up the students on Garretts Bend and Rt. 214 after dropping off students at Midway Elementary. Bus 223 will start on Garretts Bend at approximately 7:30 AM.
Bus 1610 will pick up Bus 225 students on Cobbs Creek beginning at approximately 7:10 AM.
In the afternoon, the students from Duval PK-8 and LCHS that live on Rt 3 and normally ride Bus 225 will ride Bus 191. The students that ride Bus 225 and transfer to Bus 223 will ride bus 2115.
Harts Area: Beginning Tuesday, September 6, bus 166 will not be running until further notice. Students that ride Bus 166 and live on Big Ugly Creek Road and Broad Branch can meet Bus 165 at the intersection of Big Ugly Creek Road and Green Shoals Road at approximately 6:45 AM in the mornings and approximately 2:40 PM in the afternoons.

Bus 2122 will not be running its route this evening, August 30. Students can be picked up at the school. If students cannot be picked up at the school, they will stay at the school until Bus 164 finishes it route and transports them home.

Beginning Monday, August 29th Bus 2131, 151, 1610, and 192 will be running their regular routes.
In the mornings, Bus 222 is going to be running late picking up students on Bear Creek Road and Route 10 at Salt Lick for West Hamlin, Guyan Valley, and Lincoln County High School students. Until further notice, Bus 222 is going to start into Bear Creek at approximately 7:30 AM.
Bus 222 is still not running Cherry Street on the Lower Mud River end due to the road slipping. Students will need to catch bus 2124 at the mouth of Cherry Street on Lower Mud River at approximately 7:05 AM.
Bus 2124 will drop students off at the same location in the afternoon at approximately 3:50 PM.
