Before they hit the field though, the team stopped by Hamlin PK8 this morning to help with student drop-off. The Bobcats enjoyed talking with and high fiving the team! Good luck tonight, Panthers!

👏 We are so thankful for our teachers and all that they do for students. This week, thank a teacher that has made a positive impact in your life!

Today is School Principals' Day! Principals set the tone for their schools. They support and lead their staff throughout the school year by offering support, lending an ear, or encouraging professional development. Principals go to great lengths to make sure their staff and students have every opportunity to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
LCS is fortunate to have incredibly talented, compassionate, and dedicated administrators in our schools. If you see any of these administrators today, let them know how much they are appreciated!

Today is National Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and LCS is fortunate to have some of the best drivers around! Many students start and end their school day on the bus. Drivers are responsible for safely getting students to and from school, games, field trips, and more. Drivers put in countless hours training in a number of areas, like first-aid, to ensure they are ready for any scenario while out on the road.
School, and the events, games, and trips, that come with it would not be possible without our transportation team. If you get the chance today, give a shoutout or a wave to your driver to let them know how much they are appreciated!

Fire up the (virtual) welder! GVMS opened up a Welding & Electrical CTE Program for students this semester and the course has been a hit! To ensure students got the most out of the program, GVMS Principal, Dr. Porter, secured a grant from TC Energy for two virtual welders! The virtual welder allows students to interactively learn the basics of welding and is also a great tool for learning welding safety. Way to go, Wildcats!
