Thanksgiving

Today, schools across Lincoln County are celebrating one of our most cherished traditions, our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Each fall, this special meal brings students, staff, and community members together for a warm, “family-style” celebration filled with gratitude.

This day would not be possible without the incredible dedication of our kitchen staff, who work tirelessly to prepare a delicious holiday meal for every student. We also extend heartfelt appreciation to the aides who assist with service and to the many volunteers who lend a helping hand to make the day run smoothly.

Their teamwork, care, and commitment ensure that every child experiences the joy and comfort of a Thanksgiving meal shared with their school family. Today, we celebrate not only the season of gratitude, but also the people who make it truly meaningful.

As you see your cooks today, or even tomorrow, please take a moment to thank them for the tasty meals they prepare with love, not only on Thanksgiving, but every single day. Their dedication nourishes our students in more ways than one.
