Did you miss the first sign-ups?
Don’t worry—late pre-registration for the Lincoln County Schools Summer Meal Box Program is now open for a limited time! If your child did not get registered for the first round, you still have a chance to sign up and receive weekly 7-day meal boxes this summer.
Lincoln County Schools Summer Meal Box Program
We understand that some families may have missed the initial registration for the first round of summer meal boxes. To help ease the burden of summer feeding at home, late pre-registration for next week's meal box is now open and will close at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10th. This is a firm deadline, as all meal boxes must be ordered from the distributor by 9:00 AM on Tuesdays each week. We hope that by offering this extended opportunity, we can support more families across our community during the summer months.
In partnership with the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through the WVDE Office of Child Nutrition, Lincoln County Schools will be offering 7-day meal boxes during the weeks when summer school is not in session. Each box includes shelf-stable items that provide
one breakfast and one lunch per day for a total of seven days.
This program is free for all children 18 years of age and under in Lincoln County (regardless of income), but pre-registration is required. If more than one child lives in your household, please complete a separate registration for each child. Only students who are pre-registered will be eligible to receive a meal box, as each box is ordered specifically for that student.
