About Lincoln County
The Lincoln County School District is a rural, community-based school system that merges available resources to provide a sound education for all students. School system staff believe that all students can learn if provided adequate time and resources. A high percentage of professional staff (60%) hold a Master's Degree or higher and are experienced, seasoned educators. Many teachers and principals have taken advantage of numerous staff development opportunities to support student achievement.
Lincoln County has eight schools, three PK-8 schools, three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Some of the schools operate ESEA Title 1 School-wide programs, which ensure extra staff and resources. Many additional programs and grants provide extra academic opportunities and support.
